I’m thinking this will (gratefully) be off
Exactly, may even give some of the injuries time to recovery and maybe even get some new players in.

Unless we are forced to farcically play on an unfit pitch, like at Salford, because it's on Sky TV?

We have a decent record at Burton with 4 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. They have not won any of their last 6 games but have gained useful draws at Leyton Orient and Huddersfield and at home to Peterborough, their 3 defeats were single goal defeats at home to Wrexham and Exeter and 0-2 at Birmingham and despite not winning any of the 6 games they only conceded 7 goals. They were leading at Huddersfield before an 88th minute equaliser and on Wednesday had a 2-0 lead over Peterborough before being pegged back. But they have only won 2 games all season have only 14 points so to avoid relegation they need 1.1/2 points a game for the rest of the season. In their 23 games to date they have only scored more than 1 goal 6 times and failed to score 10 times, but they have conceded more than 1 goal 13 times and have kept 6 clean sheets. Danilo Orsi is their leading scorer with 6 (7 in all comps) and Billy Bodin has 4 (6).
Ross Joyce is the referee and in 13 games this season he has issued 67 yellow cards and only 1 red, he also has not awarded any penalties so far. We last had him for our 2-0 home win against Carlisle last April.
I think KN will stick to the 541 formation employed against Stevenage to limit space for them to play through with the objective of getting another clean sheet. With Guthrie missing the 3 centre backs will probably be Willis, Eyoma and McGowan unless Baldwin is fit, as he went off with a facial injury at Shrewsbury I thought he would be back for the Stevenage game. I think Hoskins will start and KN has to choose between Fosu and McCarron and neither are 100% fit. Obviously we have to score to win but we have only scored 5 times in the last 10 games and 3 of those came from McGeehan.
We currently have 23 points from 24 games and should be aiming for a minimum total of 48 which is often enough to stave off relegation but not always. To reach 48 points we need another 25 points from our remaining 22 games which probably means another 6-7 games, we really this game to be 1 of those wins as playing the bottom team who have only won twice is our easiest remaining fixture.

This is a real 6 pointer relegation battle, our supporters can make a difference, this is a MUST WIN game. FACT. I want to see my old chum Evers swinging his hot water bottle round his head while singing ole ole ole.

Comments from Burton's Fans Forum;
As soon as the game finished on Wednesday the ground staff were putting the covers on the pitch. By the time I left at around 6.15 the whole pitch had been covered.
No guarantee, of course, but if those covers stay on til tomorrow morning if will give it every chance. And, of course, they have additional heat lamps now to move around the pitch to help too.
AND
It's going to be bloody cold all day. Frost to night and snow likely tomorrow temperature not getting much above freezing. And it's going to be the same next week. I don't know if I want to go in the cold. You know what why bother just go through the motions. Call the game off try again later in the new year. Safety first for all those who have to travel.

Nah, he's trying to be cunning about his location again. If you head out at 38 degrees from the centre circle at Sixfields it takes you to Semilong, which is presumably where he's moved to from Far Cotton.

Totally outclassed them from start to finish, we just need to play like that against the likes of StMirren and Motherwell.
