My partner loves Vera and now the show has ended its last series. I watched the penultimate episode and, as a trainer of Positive Behaviour Support and 'Breakaway' techniques I could not believe that Vera was on a cliff edge with a suspect, who had already killed someone by pushing them, and Vera positioned herself between the suspect and the cliff! Unreal!

Yes that what a programme is "Unreal" its not real life you know. They have to make it interesting!😁

I have to look away or switch off when the TV and film fictional media portray the British Army. They omit or get wrong many of the basics of how military life 'works'; wearing the wrong uniform or wearing the right uniform incorrectly or using weapons and equipment incorrectly. Amazing really as I've known a few of their 'advisors' and, despite their advice, they say that the producers etc. invariably ignore them and do their own thing, for effect. Like Pablo said, they have to exaggerate, compress and/or embellish the storylines, or it would be very boring, especially in warlike situations. I've heard similar from other uniform agencies: police, fire and nurses etc..

I felt the same when I first watched BoRap but then I embraced it for what it was.
