Oh for crying out loud, when did I "propose" that? Why do you always make stuff up? Why?   Marvo it is hard work keeping up with some of your posts basically referring to the support at the Wycombe game. In a straight  forward reply to you nothing in my reply is made up. It is all essentially based on the many points you have raised on the Support Situation at Wycombe last Saturday; there are examples of a scatter gun approach in in some of your replies. So its a tad confusing how to reply to you. I find it easier the best way for me to reply is to generalise on the essential issues. However I accept by using words like 'propose' can be confusing to you so
am sorry for this.

As for a manager asking the supporters to support, can you give me one example in the history of football where a Manager has said please don't support us?  Roll Eyes I believe this is an rhetorical query and as such does not invite a reply

For the sake of this forum, can you just give it a rest on the attacks on people who don't go, whether its because they cant because of location, or finance, or work commitments, or health, or just because they no longer want to. It's their choice and nobody deserves to be berated for it. We all support the Cobblers in our own way, that should be good enough for you.

Regarding your final paragraph this is essentially more  straight forward to comment on.

Please understand that I basically agree with Larry's recent comment that he is perhaps at odds with some support who rarely go; but some do appear to be very vociferous in criticizing team, tactics and players, even the Manager. Some of the criticisism is misplaced/unfair and unfortunately you may occasionally fall into this category! I wish to make it quite clear again that I agree with Larry's opinion. Any supporter who is unable to attend an away game is entitled to make a view point but maybe should consider some deference to those who are able to go! Is not easy to get up at 6am to watch your team play sometimes in unfavourable weather conditions.
Regarding your final sentence I totally agree with most of your sentiments, after all it is their decision that they choose not to attend as often it maybe a personal private matter!

To the best of my knowledge I believe that the details supplied are reasonably accurate, without prejudice and represent a general overview in reply to your message above. IMO of course.
Regards.

Those that don't attend. And watch it on TV, are definitely more abreast of the facts and the nuances of the game, than those who are there. Those who attend the game are not treated to replays, close ups. Statistics and numerous other match facts. I prefer live football. But there is no doubt you get a better informed and clearer perspective of the game from TV coverage. I should imagine that any owner, manager, or player is less concerned with away support, but completely interested in the home support. After all. The vast majority of away support money, which is costlier than home support, bolsters the coffers of our rivals. And aids them in their games against us.

Interesting last point which somewhat bizarrely correct in that, certainly medium term away support is actually helping the opposition (don‘t tell Evers 🤣 )

😂 It looks like (unwittingly) I am suggesting that Evers is conspiring against the club. Rather than supporting it. Of which I am most certainly am not Evers 😂

I find it most amusing, that somebody who used to organize the Mounties away coaches, is now berating those that choose to go and watch live.
Nowt as queer as folk, as my grannie used to say. I prefer the term hypocritical myself.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

In his defence. I'm not sure if that is exactly his raison d'etre. Also, at the times of the Mounties excursions, you would not have been able to make a choice of following the game from afar.

.....you didn't - there is an amusingly large chasm between suggesting travelling fans don't significantly influence results and berating them from going - but hey you are on the one dimensional word of the internet where everything can and usually will be misconstrued.

Just need Beds to join the Evers/Marvo debate by stating the need to add another tier to the away stand we'll have the most tedious thread of the season.

Don't encourage you-know-who to gabble on more about 'tiers'.

Ah, the memories of walking away from the ground trying to eavesdrop the bloke who had a tranny radio up to his ear listening to Sports Report.
