34 games in our history with Huddersfield of which we have won 13, they have won 14 and 7 have been draws, we have actually won 7 times away and 6 at home with 4 draws and 7 losses.
Huddersfield are not in great form with 1 win and 6 points from their last 6 games which have generally been low scoring with 5 goals each way. They failed to score in their last 2 games which were 0-1 home defeats to Bolton and Birmingham. They have scored more away goals (21 in 12 games) than at home (18 in 15 games) and 8 of those 21 away goals came from 4-0 wins at Bolton and Cambridge. Away from home they have won 6, drawn 3 and lost 3 and those 3 defeats came in their first 5 away games since which they have not lost any of the subsequent 7.
In their 27 games they have scored more than once 13 times but failed to score 10 times. They have conceded more than once 7 times and kept 12 clean sheets and the only team to score more than 2 goals against them was when we won there 3-1 helped by a bizarre own goal. They have only conceded 23 goals and only Birmingham have conceded fewer.
Huddersfield's leading scorers are Ben Wiles with 6 (9 in all comps.), Callum Marshall 6 (7) and Josh Koroma 5 (7). Also on their books is our former loan GK Lee Nicholls who was with us in the 2012-13 season when he kept 20 clean sheets in 51 games, Lee is now 32 but currently warming the bench. Referee is Benjamin Speedie and in 26 games has issued 86 yellows and 1 red card.
With no update on our injury situation we do not know if Koiki, Fox and Roberts who previously were said to be close to returning will be in the 18. I think Willis could return to the starting and with Eyoma, Dyche, Baldwin and Magloire we have 5 centre backs so KN could play McGowan in his natural right back position and Odimayo could switch to the left allowing Pinnock to play further forward. Cambridge (play Wycombe), Crawley (play Wrexham) and Shrewsbury (play Mansfield) are all at home and only Burton (play Barnsley) of the bottom 4 away. WE know we are not going to score many goals so it is imperative we are strong defensively.

Huddersfield signed Dion Charles this month on a 2.1/2 year contract from Bolton for a reported £750,000.

He’s a very good striker Full credit to our defence if we can stop him scoring. Here’s hoping

Is it too late to sign anyone in time for tomorrow? We need to win this, I hope we do

Maybe the crowd can be the extra man. Surely they will make the difference.

Poor ticket sales again, when I looked there was a total of 269 remaining in the west and north (usually at this point there are very few) and plenty in the east with some sections yet to be put on sale. We only just topped 6000 for the Lincoln game but tomorrow ought to be higher as Huddersfield should bring more.

As I’ve said before I pay and don’t go. It must be wearing thin on those who pay and do go. We aren’t even having shots during matches from what I can see , it’s about entertainment, if fans are being bored stupid then it’s not surprising crowds are falling. If we go down I think there will be plenty of sun 5,000 gates next season. Let’s try and stay up if we can.

Hudders had the full 1400 allocation but didn't sell out before tickets went off sale this afternoon.

Crowds definitely dropping but if you’re not a regular you aren’t coming to watch the s*** we’ve served up this season and a lot of last to be fair.

TBF, if we finish 20th and stay up, it's technically progress

Depends how you measure progress! 20th would mean we haven't done our usual dropping down after two seasons malarkey, but having finished 14th with 60 points you'd be hard pressed to find someone who considered 20th this season with say 45 points as progress!
