Some on here have no clue about Eaves

I would argue Brady had no clue about Eaves, he was playing him in a formation that guaranteed both him and the team would struggle. Nolan has had to bring in a completely new midfield and change the formation and we are starting to see signs that hopefully this can work although it’s early days yet. Had neither of these happened Eaves would have continued to struggle with us.

Great result.

That goal for Sammy will be good for his confidence too.

Tzanev has been really good recently.

I've just watched the highlights on YouTube, the Huddersfield goalie looks like he's about 12 years old. Three good goals as well

As I said in the opening post the only game Huddersfield have conceded more than 2 goals is when we beat them 3-1 up there. We are going to find our shooting boots tomorrow and repeat that scoreline.

Well played OAP.

And is been 10 games, since we last scored more than one. Home or away.

Nicely done Tabby.

PS where is your usual posting of the highlights? Come on, responsibilities, not letting others down etc.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Did you enjoy the new rows of seats in the East as well?

Everything went unexpectedly well today - we scored 3 goals, there's new seats in the East Stand and the bar staff behind the North Stand had actually pre-poured pints of Export before half time! We did question at half time whether we were all imaginary characters in one of Tom Eaves' dreams and that perhaps none of it was actually real...

I thought Tzanev was very poorly positioned for their first goal, and would have made a save had he been better placed.

Good saves otherwise though.

A number of our players answered their critics today. Superb strike from Sam gave the keeper no chance and he also put in some good defensive work. Pinnock also at wing back had 1 of his best games of the season. Eaves was terrific, got through a tremendous amount of work and not at all slow. He outmuscled the defender to score and a comment from a Huddersfield fan said he would walk into their team.
Another good game for Shaw and he and Taylor are certainly making a difference in midfield. We generally defended well and until Huddersfield scored after 70 minutes Tzanev had no serious saves to make, his recent performances have been good and he looks to have cemented the GK position for the foreseeable future.

Great win squeaky bum time at the end, sat far to deep for the last 20.
Credit where credit is due Eaves and the Imp played well, just goes to prove the old adage if you give a monkey a typewriter and enough paper 😉

Excellent goals from Hoskins and Shaw obviously. However, I have to say the awareness Eaves showed in getting his shot away like that when he was short on time was very good. I’m with some others on here, I think he is a class act. For those that remember a bit of a Mark Hately type, needs to be played in the right system with the right service. Do that and you have a player.
