The "Sixfields faithful" have had it tough this season.
Last season in our 23 games we failed to score on five occasions, we scored 31 goals and were not involved in a goalless draw at home (or away for that matter!)
This season in our 12 games we've scored 11 goals, failed to score on six occasions and already seen three 0-0's at home.
Some big games still to come but our average home crowd this season is 6,438, that's down around 6% on last season. We would need an average gate of 7,283 in our remaining games this season to match last season's overall average.

I got a very good feeling about this game, going for a 2-0 win
That’s the spirit!

Depends how you measure progress! 20th would mean we haven't done our usual dropping down after two seasons malarkey, but having finished 14th with 60 points you'd be hard pressed to find someone who considered 20th this season with say 45 points as progress!
The problem is, if you look back to pre-season you will find dozens of posters on here declaring 20th would be regarded as a successful season. If the supporters set their sights so low, why expect the club to look higher, there is no pressure on them to do so. However if you finish 20th, there are not going to be many high spots so of course attendances will be affected. In truth, I think they have held up quite well under the circumstances. It's all about aspirations and expectations.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!
We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

As I said in the opening post the only game Huddersfield have conceded more than 2 goals is when we beat them 3-1 up there. We are going to find our shooting boots tomorrow and repeat that scoreline.

I hope you're right. Its all we need, just kick-start our recovery and put distance between ourselves and the bottom four.

And is been 10 games, since we last scored more than one. Home or away.

I see there is another contribution to the match previews. A statistical one at that. Let's hope it has a similar effect as those that point out how many games it is since the opposition have last won away /at Sixfields.

Crowds definitely dropping but if you’re not a regular you aren’t coming to watch the s*** we’ve served up this season and a lot of last to be fair.
I'm back in the UK for the next few weeks and having watched us on line recently I shall not be wasting what little time I have over here on going to watcha game.

We’ll win this and complete the unlikely double overtime them. We peaked in that game earlier in the season. Roberts and Fosu were playing well, McGeehan too. We need to get back to that form. We can and we will, up the teyn!

That's it then, our relegation fate sealed, all down to the selfish actions of one person. I don't know how you can live with yourself Singy. You need to give your head a wobble.

If we win today I might see you at Mansfield on Friday.

Lose today and we could find ourselves in the bottom 4 at 5 o'clock if either Crawley win at home to Wrexham or Burton win at Barnsley (currently 0-0 at half time). In the other early kick off Exeter who have 1 point from their last 6 games are losing 1-2 at Stevenage.
