I last went there 21 years ago and vowed never to go back. Felt numb walking up those steps at the end. I'd take another 1 v 3.

Curle and Calderwood as 'youngsters'.

So many memories of that night. A couple of random ones, John Taylor having a wee in the corner of the terracing along the side before the penalties were taken. Chris Hargreaves in tears as he left the field which led to my own tears. What a night and rough justice from Mr Crossley.

The Stags have brought in forwards Caylan Vickers (on loan from Brighton) and Jordan Rhodes (on loan from Blackpool) this evening.

Quite right Shoemender the support at WW was top quality and counts a lot to the team. The support last Saturday was also very good; hence a decent result!

So conversely the support at the 13 games we've lost this season must have been pretty dire. Were you at any of those games?

You just can't claim credit whenever we get a result and ignore the games we don't.

Listen, the reason the support felt so good was that the players performed. That's how it works, not the other way round.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Well all I can say is I hope your presence is enough to swing the match our way.

I lead to believe that is a given. Can I just take this opportunity to thank Fenners for his sacrifice in visiting the shîthole in order for The Mighty Cobblers to achieve greatness.

It's a dirty job but someone had to do it. I look forward to voting for him in the Man of the Match thread.

I'm going to conduct a much needed experiment whilst I am there. I am going to sit in complete silence for the first half. Then in the second half I am going to cheer them on relentlessly. You will know by the performance if it made a difference.

Good idea. That will settle this debate one way or the other conclusively. Be hard to argue with the results whatever the outcome of the game.

I'm expecting to see Hoskins and Pinnock at wingbacks again this week after it's success vs Huddersfield. Hopefully Roberts makes the matchday squad too.

Conclusive I'd say.

Not surprised for a game moved to a Friday night at short notice I'd have gone had it been a Saturday game

You are easily amused Manny, perhaps the tv companies might want to make a sitcom about it.

I doubt it mate, I remember we used to fill field mill, unfortunately over exposure and them keep beating us has severely put me off, still expect 500-600 there.

Nolan says that McGowan and Eyoma will both miss this game having come off against Huddersfield. Pick 2 from 3 to replace them from Baldwin, Dyche and Magloire.
Also none of the others on the injury list will be ready.

Hey it's not often that people have said they would like to see Pinnock at wingback.
