Nolan says that McGowan and Eyoma will both miss this game having come off against Huddersfield. Pick 2 from 3 to replace them from Baldwin, Dyche and Magloire. Also none of the others on the injury list will be ready.
Easy, it will be Baldwin on one side of Willis and Dyche the other side. Magloire will be on the bench.

I doubt it mate, I remember we used to fill field mill, unfortunately over exposure and them keep beating us has severely put me off, still expect 500-600 there.
That doesn't make any sense. If we used to fill Field Mill, how did we keep getting beat? You're not suggesting its all to do with the players on the pitch and not the support are you? Radical thinking.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!
We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Very poor record at Mansfield as we have won only 4 of the 41 games, we last won there in 2003-4 season when we won there twice once in the league fixture and again in the play offs. We have drawn 10 and lost the other 27 games. However, this is perhaps a good opportunity to register another win as Mansfield have lost all of their last 4 games 3 of which were against teams in the bottom 4. they lost 1-2 at home to Wycombe, 2-3 at Cambridge (I watched that game and they were very poor), 0-1 at home to Crawley and 1-2 at Shrewsbury despite leading 1-0 and Shrewsbury reduced to 10 men. Their home record is similar to ours with 5 wins, 3 draws and 5 defeats.
In their 27 games they have scored more than 1 goal 12 times (5 at home) and failed to score 6 times (3 at home). They have conceded more than 1 goal 8 times (3 at home) and have 6 clean sheets (2 at home). Leading goal scorers are Hayden Evans and Lee Gregory who both have 10 EFL goals. As was pointed out in an earlier post they have just signed 2 strikers on loan, young Vickers from Brighton who is unlikely to make the starting 11 and Rhodes from Blackpool whose best days seem to be behind him as he hasn't scored in 18 EFL games this season for Blackpool.
Referee is Edward Duckworth and in20 games he has flourished 89 yellows, 3 reds and awarded 4 penalties.
With the 3 teams immediately above not having division 1 games this weekend a draw would move us up 1 place and a win 3 places. KN says nobody from the injury list is ready to return and McGowan and Eyoma join the list after last Saturdays game. So he will have to choose 2 from Baldwin, Dyche and Magloire to replace them and personally I would play Magloire instead of Baldwin who is slow on the turn as was evidenced with the 3rd goal at Bolton when Collins cut inside him with ease. It will be interesting to see if KN sticks with the bold plan again of playing both Pinnock and Hoskins at wing back which he said he was because he wanted to take the game to Huddersfield. Perhaps he may be a little more circumspect away from home but with 4 left backs injured Pinnock will probably have to again play left wing back and he had a good game there on Saturday, which leaves the question will he leave Hoskins on the right or bring back Odimayo? Also against Huddersfield he played both Eaves and Fosu up top so could revert to a single striker. If we can replicate last Saturdays performance we can get a positive result given Mansfield's slump in form.

Friday night M1 traffic, will have a lot to do with it. I have done motorway commutes in the past, and they aint much fun. When it takes you three and a half hours (friday evening) to do a two hour (sat am) run, you tend to lose the enthusiasm.

The roads are quieter now on Monday's and Friday's thanks to Covid. I'm sure the M1 north on a Friday night will be a roll of the dice though. Coming back is no guarantee as they love a night time closure for no apparent reason.

He could be. He had a bike when he was younger, got around a bit.

Indeed. I had a pushbike, and a Suzuki AP50. So if Mysterio has developed a penchant for chubby birds, gimp masks, and ice cold Marigolds, you could be on to something!

Is this on the tellybox?
Just a bit too far for me on a Friday. Would have been tempted on a Saturday. Despite seeing 0-0, 1-2, 0-3 and 1-3 on my four northern away days Im hungry for more...
Though I may be the ultimate jinx

Not feeling overly confident about today despite our good result last week and Mansfields patchy form. Interesting to see if we stick with the wingback system or go back to a back 4. Would happily take a point and keep some momentum. Nice to have a few more options off the bench now also.

Anyone else feeling somewhat confident now we have a competent matchday 11 to choose from? I'm fancying Eaves being amongst the goals again tonight.
