I've just googled it and found that 6 subs are allowed in internationals unless an agreement between the teams and ref is made beforehand. But in domestic games it's a maximum of 5. Maybe they made a mistake and hopefully we'll be awarded the game or it will have to  be replayed........Deepcut.
Please, no replays. Lets just take the point and move on.

Yeah, we would lose the replayed game and end up worse off. Surely, it would be the fault of the officials for not keeping a tab on the substitutions. I notice the report on their first sub said he went down off the ball - doesn't sound like a concussion injury??

Absolutely bossed the game for 80 minutes but could easily have lost it in the end...

Thought Taylor & young Perry did well, Fosu was as frustrating as ever, Maglorie did well too...

Special mention for Wilson's first touch 🤣

What an horrendous signing!

if indeed he did touch it that's more than he's managed in his last few outings.

That's league one football.
You're unlikely to take the trouble to visit a National League game, so I want you to know that while it's entertaining, the quality is significantly below today's performance.

Let's not be critical today, that was one of the best performances of the season. If we had won then everybody would be gushing with praise. We didn't win thanks to an 87 minute equaliser.

Really? I enjoyed it, as much as any game in the last few months. A well worked goal, we hit the bar, Fosu had two relatively easy chances to make the game safe and Burge had one save to make. I also think Hoskins would have scored if he had done his usual and hit it first time instead of taking an extra touch.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Now find a similar article pertaining to a league one game, and not a FA cup game, and I might take it seriously.

Once you are serious the FA might be interested ?

I watched the second half and enjoyed it up until about 80 minutes when we started to sit back and let them on to us, after a few defensive subs. Good away point and important not to lose against relegation rivals, but a team in free fall was there for the taking.

Only listened to the game on the radio but we seemed to be seeing the game out and more likely to score again while Exeter were trying to play out from the back but once they changed to getting the ball forward quickly the game changed. Comments from Exeter fans that they were bad and we were not much better, most teams would have been further in front and KN seemed to share the view that their goal ought to have only been a consolation and we should have taken all 3 points.
So 2 points lost and we need to improve if we are going to take points from the next 4 games before we finish the month at Cambridge, I think we should be aiming for a minimum of 5 points from the 5 games.

"In Leagues One and Two, it's a bench of seven.

In all three EFL leagues, you can make up to five substitutions during a game, but have to do them across three 'opportunities' (basically, stoppages in play) per side.

Concussions substitutions are in effect in the EFL, so if someone needs taking off under the concussion protocols, it does not count towards either your five substitutions or your three opportunities to make a change.

If a side makes a concussion substitution, the opposition are also granted an additional substitution that they can use as they see fit. That rule is there to prevent abuse of the concussion substitute rule."

We weren't sure what was wrong with their first player substituted, we must assume that it was classed as a 'concussion' substitution?

Likewise, I enjoyed the game.
As I've said in the POTS thread, at FT I thought of it as two points lost unfortunately.

Was there yesterday and I thought we should of won that.

Was frustrating cause we had the better chances.and controlled it up until the 80th min when they scored.

Gutting news about Shaw being out for the foreseeable with an ACL injury. I do wonder if we might end up getting a free agent in to cover given we do have 1 or 2 spots free in our 22.

Shame we couldn't hold out for the 3 points, hard to see us getting much from the next two games, so it really could cost us dearly.
