Well, I think i have the answer for that. Beds has been doing his version of Harry Enfield's obsessive plasterer for years, only instead of the amount of money he has he fixates on the number of seats. Now he's working on his own version of Julio Geordio, so I reckon there would be an exquisite irony if Harry Enfield was cast in that role.

26th march - pleas entered and case begins

for anyone wishing to attend please call court on the tuesday for court number and time of the hearing

If anything, this thread demonstrates just how clunky our judicial system is.
Things like r*pe trials often take years and years. Weren't they only actually charged this year?
This could go on for a long time but no rush, the charge only goes back to 2013.

If I recall correctly, this was scheduled to be a plea hearing. If that is correct, then this could drag on for quite a while.

Yeah it is. If they plead guilty it will be resolved pretty quickly. If not it will join the list for a trial date. It depends how they are being advised on the case against them and benefit of an early plea, if appropriate.
For those wanting 'justice' it can't be a pleasant existence living with it over your head for all this time....regardless of the legal outcome.
