I still have the To the Top Video, it has an annoying song of the same name.
I got it transferred to a DVD, don't mind the title track

I did the same. Occasionally watch it now. Picture quality is awful for the most part but at least we’ve got some footage to look back on. I like the title track! I do recall the video being about £20 at the time, which was very expensive.

What did we charge in 1970 verses standard pricing?
I remember people kicking off for the £30 (I think) we charged in the 0 v 3 game.
From memory I think my first ST might have been £60-70 in 1979.
I definitely remember paying £3 cash to get in at the Kop at Anfield in 1980.
1960/61 Hotel End 1s 6d (7.5p) I believe, for a 15 year old anyway. I earned half a crown per hour for my weekend job, so not too bad.

I wonder if Gary M could be persuaded to put it on a DVD professionally? I think it would sell extremely well.

I'm sure it cost less than a shilling in 1964. 11d from memory at the spion kop end and another 6d for a programme. I was 9 at the start of 1964 season.

If it was 11d for entry and 6d for a programme that is a very expensive programme and today we would be paying around £10 for one.

The programme prices can easily be checked looking on ebay.
They were 3d in 1960, rising to 4d in 1961, 6d in 1963 and 1/- by 1967.
The admission prices I am not so confident about, can anyone else confirm?

By comparison a 1/- (5p) in 1967 is equivalent to 80p in todays money.

I don't think it was that much, I'm pretty sure I paid 1s to get in the Hotel End and 6d "transfer" to get down the Cricketside, that was 1961/62 as a 9 year old

Yea, but you were just out of nappies whilst I was a real man of the world 15 year old, so they'd have to charge me more  Roll Eyes
I'm fairly certain it cost me 1s/6d, or maybe they saw me coming  Grin

£1.80 might have been £2.80 in the 80s.
In the 70s I don't remember, my Pap paid for me, or rather he carried me in through the turnstile.
