That was a real battling performance that against a very tough side to play against at home.
I think Roberts was absolutely brilliant, dare I say it was his best performance in a cobblers shirt. Burge made some big saves today as well.
Nolan got it spot on tactically today as well.
To be 8 points clear now is huge.
Still 10 games to go, but I'd say another 3 more wins and that probably keeps us up, and we do have a favourable run in.
Overall, really pleasing.

Our high press for most of the first half stopped them playing, then Orient came more into it but we finished stronger than recently. Great support!

Mysterious, quite right we can’t let that slip because if you look at page 6 of the transfer column I never said he had gone back to Birmingham. What I said was that Birmingham thought he might be better at a club that was not in a relegation fight and because Eaves was injured he was being played out of position. This was reported in the local Birmingham press who also said they may let Leonard out on loan as he was getting little playing time which I also posted. If you are going to quote somebody try doing it accurately.

Do those who wondered what the Roberts "love in" or whatever the quote was, was all about, still have the same opinion? He was outstanding today and has always looked a class player. Let's hope he's OK after his injury, we could do with him for the run in.
He's fine according to KN's interview on RN after the game, he was always going to come off at some point. Also Roberts said so himself as he and McGeehan were interviewed as well after the game. It also seems NGW and Willis were rested and are fine. Luke MBete not far away either.

Well done to the whole squad who have all stepped up to the challenge KN has set them.
10 out of 10 to the relentless support of all the fans including the group on top of the flats!

A really strong performance from the team and the support. Definitely Roberts’ best game in a Cobblers’ shirt. The high press really unsettled the opposition, fantastic to watch. Bring on the Brummies!

On 29th December you said ‘ Birmingham to recall Roberts to send him to a higher placed club.’ You followed up shortly after with a series of other posts saying he’s been recalled and this has been confirmed by the local press. If anyone was trying to drive him out over January as your original post says, I suggest you look in the mirror to find the prime culprit.

I assume Roberts can’t play next weekend so he’ll have a couple of weeks to recover anyhow.

What a superb win the best under Nolan.
Dyche has been good since coming back but my 1 concern is the amount of times his mangers the wrong side of him

My only experience of wrong sided mangers occurred in the late 70s, and my only advice to anyone who is unfortunate to encounter them is to run like hell in the opposite direction.

Yep, there was a whole bandwagon of idiots saying he no good and we should send him back, clueless. Roberts is our best player by a mile.

What’s a wrong sided manager - hopefully not one in the betrayals gang?

Excellent day in London topped off with a great 3points, 5 points from the last three games is a good haul. Was disappointed not winning at Exeter but yesterday more than made up for it.

Ditto and another day out in London to look forward to on good Friday. Let's hope the outcome is similar.
