Love the way all these games are on utube.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Leicestershire T20 - June 1st

That was a low scoring nail biter. A greenish wicket favouring seam bowlers. Bartlett (getting his runs in quick time) and Bopara key to steering the team to the win. Both Sanderson and Willey bowled really well.

Surprising to see both Yorkshire and Birmingham lose their first 2 games.

I thought our fielding this afternoon was a marked improvement on some of the performances last season. Proctor's drop in the outfield was at least partly explained (a fellow supporter told me) by fielding with a broken finger.

3 wins on the bounce. Excellent last over from Sanderson conceding only 2 runs from his first 5 balls to seal the win.

Where would we be without Sanderson ? His bowling last night was class. Plaudits to Willey (batting, bowling and fielding) and Bopara. There were some shockers as well. Pope's second over !

Another magnificent spell from Sanderson tonight, 6 wickets for only 8 runs in his 4 overs including a hat trick and 4 wickets in his 4th over.

Just looked it up. 7-18. I reckon you could argue 6-8 is better.

Top of Northern group with the best net run rate of 0.716. However, all of the top 4 teams in the Southern group have better net run rates Hampshire 3,533, Somerset 1.333, Sussex 1.293 and Glamorgan 0.746.

How does that have any affect in us?

Oh. I don't know much about the rules, I thought you were implying that we were at a disadvantage, maybe home advantage in the next stage.

So, what was the point you were making? Genuinely interested.

Simply making the point that 4 teams in the other section had better net run rates.

Quarter finals:-  Winners of Northern group home to 4th place Southern group
2nd place Northern group home to 3rd place Southern group
3rd place Northern group away to 2nd place Southern group
4th place Northern group away to winners of Southern group

I'm enjoying watching. Notts very Worcs tonight, I'm favouring the Rapids as they've only one win, Notts already have two.
