A good job we are in the northern group thebsouthern group always seems stronger

It appears you're right. Southern sides have won it the last 4 years and worse still, in three of those finals the losers were from the South too. So just one Northern finalist in 4 years.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

Yes there are sone strong teans in the south group, but also really weak too. Middlesex , Kent and Sussex are all as weak as anything in the North, plus you have x4  test match counties in the North group who have big income in comparison, so swings and round abouts.

Another comfortable win, good figures from Scrimshaw mopping up the lower order. Proctor and Pope also economical.

I noticed we only play 14 games, how do they decide which two teams we only play once? Is it luck of the draw? Anybody know?

5 wins from 5 games, 4 away. Now a run of 5 straight home games (strange fixture arrangement). Contributions from different players. Everyone is playing their part. Brilliant to see. Away commentators been very complimentary about us two. Let’s hope Sky are impressed on Wednesday evening.

I hope they play on a better pitch than our only home game so far. A 120 wicket is not what you want in 20-20 cricket.

It was a close affair but people go to these games to see runs not low scoring games. Ideally team batting first to set a total of 160 plus.

To be fair I preferred the low scoring Leicester game to the Yorkshire slog fest. I proper test between bat and ball.

Be a challenge tonight against the Warwickshire Bears and this one is live on Sky so will have the benefit of TV decisions. Can the Steelbacks make it six from six?

Bit tight towards the end, but another great win...

Going well so far.
Have to be mindful there is a pause in T20 action soon, but I reckon we've probably dome almost enough to qualify already?
We just look a good all round side, no real stars except maybe Willey.
Not sure if everyone is aware but there is full coverage on most games on you tube. Really professional coverage it is too.
The exception was last night because Sky were covering it.

Altogether now.

While the Bears had only 1 wicket down it looked as thou they were going on to win with balls to spare. After Scrimshaw picked 2 wickets we proceeded to pick up more at regular intervals. Another excellent over from Sanderson at the end conceding only 2 runs and taking 3 wickets, we do seem reliant on Sanderson, Willey and Scrimshaw as wicket takers.

Marvellous win on Wednesday which didn’t look likely for the majority of Warwickshire’s innings. Willey’s captaincy and bowling changes expertly executed by Scrimshaw, Sando and Willey himself changed the game.
Our batting was steady and controlled upping the ante when required.
Lehmann was quite active on the sidelines too given some encouragement. Would never have seen Sadler do that.
