Thought we were past this kind of thing. Of the very many disappointing things about today's trip to Cambridge this was probably the worst. Second half, left hand side of the away section. Prolonged homophobic shouting from at least one Cobblers fan. No one - myself included unfortunately - called it out. Lots found it amusing and giggled like excited school kids. F*cking depressing.

It will never stop. There is always be some and unfortunately they will breed perpetuating the situation. |

Not to be repeated here but a wide variety of derogatory terms and slurs that should have died out a long time ago. It wasn't a one off, it was prolonged. |

At least one fan was ejected by stewards after being alerted to something, I don't know if it was connected.

Apparently that was due to racial abuse of the stewards. The idea of which was hilarious to some of the people around me. |

Yeah have to say I noticed this quite a lot yesterday. I’m all for a having a good time with mates etc.. but some of the stuff some of the young lads, barely 18 were coming out with was just ridiculous. But then you hear some old blokes spouting the same stuff and they seem to look up to them as some sort of role models. You sometimes see signs up and around grounds saying if you hear anything like this you can text a number to report, maybe we need more of these about because it was quite embarrassing.

He then decided to kick the hoardings in the back of a steward on two separate occasions for absolutely no reason. It would have been pointless in saying anything to him as he must of been in his fifties. He was an absolute embarrassment to the club.

Anyone who witnessed discriminatory behaviour first hand on Saturday should strongly consider reporting it to the club. They can't condemn what they're potentially not aware of. There were multiple incidents throughout the game and as a fanbase/club we can't tolerate it or pretend it didn't happen. |
