Pah! The Mighty Cobblers have got more chance of staying up than my horse winning, but I'd take that.

A good each way between, especially when some of the bookies are offering six/seven places...

I have passed the baton over to Mrs T to invest as much of her own money as she chooses on three card brag. 50/50 on any winnings though. I feel that this is only fair, as it is always my turn to pay for the takeaways, or fill the car up.

Mrs T must have been well behaved recently, she used to be referred to as the current Mrs T. Was she previously on a season long loan and now you have secured her on a Bosman?

I have my one flutter of the year for the National, so I stick £50 in the kitty and everyone in the family picks a horse for an each way bet.

We managed to get 2nd and 6th, so netted out at £6.50 down. Oh well, no harm done!

Don't give him anything, Tabby says he is bound to spend it on drugs and his next holiday to Benidorm.

Not at all, I think we should all take life's small pleasures when we can. You never know what lies around the corner.
