University research on the influence of Andrew Tate on masculinity

I get very confused by Andrew Tate. On the one hand I'm a heterosexual male, but on the other I see that shiny head, the regressive chin that just screams of inbreeding, the ratty little beard, the willingness to objectify and traffick women and the pretty mouth and I come over all north Georgian hillbilly and think I'd like to make him squeal like a piggy.

I'm not sure that's the reaction he wants to elicit from men, but that just makes it all the... more..., um, hang on, I think I need to go to the toilet...

He's had no effect on my masculinity, femininity or any inity to be honest as I've never read or heard anything he's ever said.

Someone being deliberately controversial in an area likely to gain traction without care for any consequences, primarily for the purpose of making a profit. Basically Alex Jones in misogynistic clothing.

This type tend to target 2 groups, knuckle draggers and/or paranoid bureauphobics. If you can get under their skin it can be very lucrative. Ironically most of it stems from a desire to be in control, so they let themselves be controlled by these internet warriors in the process, hysterical. Basically their followers are not very bright and easy to manipulate.

After many years of struggle I’m now reasonably comfortable in my own skin. And have no need for validation from anyone! No f***s given 👍

Like any internet, social media, influencer, they influence those that want or need to be influenced.

Personally I cringe when anyone describes themselves as an influencer. True influence comes from good intention, deeds and actions.

It's very sad how kids grow up now and when asked to what they aspire, they say an "influencer"

I was listening to someone going on about the boy Tate on the telly today. You’d think that being a domineering alpha male he wouldn’t be so intimidated and insecure about being in a relationship with a strong independent woman. Seems to me that he prefers the somewhat embarrassing tactic of targeting young, vulnerable girls that are easily manipulated, so I am a bit confused by the contradiction. It doesn’t seem very strong and domineering to me, so it doesn’t even work as an argument. Like I said it’s all about spouting bóllocks to a demographic to generate income. Either that or he’s too thick to see the irony.

I can proudly say that I have heard of this Tate guy but never seen him, nor could pick him out in a line up. I don't have any sons though.

I just typed the following into google,  football forums username "theacademic" and it turned up with ten pages worth. As he has been posting surveys for the last ten years, he/she/it  is clearly a lecturer not a student. Do your own research you lazy git.

Spoke to my missus about this thread, and she said if some man child tried that bulls*** with her it would end up like a scene from the godfather. Except instead of a severed horses head in the bed it would be his bollocks. Don’t know whether to feel proud or scared s***less. Perhaps prof could put that in his survey.

I've completed it, but I can't possibly think how my opinions on him would be any use to anyone at all. Is this research publicly funded, as it seems a huge waste of time to me?
