So far the following have been announced:

Brackley away - Sat July 5th  15.00 PM
Cambridge Utd home - Tues July 8th 12.01 PM (behind closed doors)
Norwich City away - Sat July 12th 13.00 PM (behind closed doors)
Redditch Utd away - Mon July 21st 19.45 PM
West Ham brats home - Tues July 22nd 19.00 PM
Birmingham City home - Sat July 26th 15.00 PM

A couple of personal observations to make: Whoever scheduled Brackley away on the weekend of the British GP needs to give their head a wobble.

Redditch away, the day before West Ham suggests that it may be a game of guess the trialist, which is a shame as had it been a Saturday, then I might have gone. I dont think that I have ever been to Redditch, and the ground is close to the town centre and station.

Birmingham home should be interesting, as they play Port Vale away at 13.00 PM, and ourselves away at 15.00 PM on the same day. Which reinforces my view about testimonials.

As the season starts on August 2nd, then that leaves Sat July 19TH free.  Any requests?

Redditch link, before anybody says that its not on the official website.

Its probably cheaper to fly to Spain than get the train to Redditch.  Grin

I wonder if they’ll get to Spain this year after last year’s debacle?

Anybody who wants to go to Brackley will have to find an alternative route as they always close the A43 on Grand Prix weekends. My youngest granddaughter is studying engineering at Silverstone school which overlooks the track and they are closing the school for the Thursday and Friday and her year are going to France.

As the pitch is being currently dug up and re-set, the Cambridge game will probably be at Moulton. So, if anybody fancies hiding in the bushes, and playing "guess the trialist" (wheres Insider these days?) fill ya boots.

Just in case anyone's interested;

When does the 2025/26 season get underway?

The 2025/26 season will kick off over the weekends of 1-3 August in League One and League Two and 8-10 August in the Championship.

The scheduled 46 rounds of League matches will take place across 33 weekends, nine midweeks and four Bank Holidays in the Championship, with Leagues One and Two playing over 33 weekends, five midweeks and eight Bank Holidays and International Breaks.

June 26th is Fixture announcement date.

When will the Carabao Cup and Vertu Trophy draws be made?

Fixture Release Day will also incorporate the draws for Round One of the Carabao Cup and the Vertu Trophy Group Stage, which will both take place live on Sky Sports News.

The Vertu Trophy Group Stage Draw will take place at 2:30pm, followed by the Carabao Cup Round One Draw at 4:30pm.
