Just out of interest, should someone banned from sixfields due to an arrest at a football match, bailed, then later released from bail without charge, should the club honour the season ticket holders early bird reduction ?

If they are innocent, then I guess a ST should be allowed, however if not 100% pure white or likely to be involved in trouble again, then NO!!

I would say the club have as much responsibility to honour it as the relevant police force do to compensate you the difference.

Best of luck with that. Their only action would be to release the person "without charge" as if theyre doing them a favour. You wouldnt even get an apology, as that is tantamount to an admission that their course of action was incorrect in the first place. A stern wagging of the finger, and an "on your way sonny" is deemed sufficient. Or so a friend told me.

There is no favour implied ref 'without charge' as that could be interpretated by some lawyers as an opportunity for some opportune business! A stern wagging of the finger is very last century or two! What is this latest gimmick of yours; the green face. As perhaps it reveals more than you wish?

As a form of apology please accept a genuine ' Touche' for the good points made by you above. Touche is from the French meaning in the main, a good point made. Point being the operative word for Strike as in Fencing. Generally it is made by a chivalrous/sporting opponent. It clearly was an error on my part and was ambiguous at best, if at all.
