Anybody else looking forward to this Summers Lions games starting against Argentina on Friday with a trio of Saints playing? No? Oh well, nevermind. Forget I asked.

Managers like Bowen and Wilder* are rare to come by! Whether we like it or not Jon Brady is the only recent Manager who can possibly follow in their* footstops!

We should stick with him, as at the moment he is our only hope of survival as a EFL Club!

can't help but think in these days of professional rugby that the British Lions idea is a tad old fashioned and a hark back to amateur representative rugby.
Maybe concentrate on England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales as world Cup competing countries

In truth the British lions are not really that far removed from East Midlands and Barbarians are they?

An interesting assessment.
Similarly, could never understand why golfers get so worked up about representing Europe and US. Made up drama.

Me neither, and the fact we had to add in the rest of Europe to even come close to America too.

Back to rugby I do enjoy the Six nations, but could never really understand why it is played mid season. Surely the time to play it would have been now?

England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland aren't classified as countries according to the UN (and Pointless). Therefore should we do away with the smaller nations within the country of the United Kingdom (of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) in all sports?

Well there's an argument to say yes, we do seem to pick and choose which sports have a British team and which have individual countries.
But they do all have Football Associations so there's the argument on the other side.

When Tommy Freeman scores a try in Australia, they will say the Northampton and England winger. What better way for a worldwide name check of our illustrious home town.

It's far too hot.

Alex Mitchell, MotM today... probably won't start in the Tests but great to come off the bench.
