I count 6 appearances for Sierra Leone last season (and 8 in total). I think he's our only current international? Thankfully no AFCON issues to bugger us up in January.

(Northampton chron reporting 1 cap - presumably their hefty journalism stopped at Wikipedia).

Read a page on the Salford forum about him, complaining about his tendency to ballhog at all ocassions and constantly dribble at all occasions. A lot in the chron about KN seeing him as complimentary in attributes to campbell... suggests in a double pivot system Campbell will sit deeper and try and play the pass a bit, and Fornah will be a bit more box to box and drive down the pitch on the counter a bit more.

Looks a cracking signing on paper. We’re well stacked in CM now that’s for sure.

Thread bare in all other positions so time to shift the focus, hopefully a 3/4 exciting signings CF, CB and creativity out wide.

I hope you’re not suggesting James did a naff job copying and pasting this time? He’s normally pretty good at it.

There are medications available for constant dribbling.

Would make sense. Fornah makes for a real unique profile, and one I think who will get the crowd off their feet. He seems to fancy himself as a bit of a left winger Grin

Welcome aboard Tyrese. He seems to have an unusual style for a lower league CM. One thing that is noticeable immediately is he does seem to get tunnel vision at times, taking a lot of touches attempting to dribble instead of a quick pass. Can imagine this may cause the fans (and teammates) some frustration at time but for a team such as ours that does not tend to have the majority of possession it may be very useful.

If he can play along side a midfielder who is more controlled (Campbell I assume) could lead to an effective combination. Interesting to see he got a 3 year deal. When was the last of those we handed out? Seem to recall Brendan Moloney and Ryan Cresswell may have had one.

Different positions but the described tendency does remind me a bit of both Tarique Fosu and Ali Kolki - potentially exciting to watch but unfortunately more often than not they both flattered to deceive - hopefully we can get the right balance with Tyrese.
