Will it be as good as 'Club for a fiver' about Leyton Orient. Best Football doc out there, John Sitton is a star.
Anyway, I remember someone on here saying Slowes ex-school friends said he was 'the least likely of people to play football' or something along those lines. But how can that be true if he was a youth teamer at Brighton?

The best friend of my neighbour's neighbour's son.
It makes perfect sense but I had to read it several times what makes no sense is Alister Slowe, no matter how many times I read it!

That was really odd, and somehow just a bit sad and desperate. If you want to be taken seriously as a footballer...someone really should have had a quiet word.

Maybe Slowe is another cousin (albino) of George Weah?

What do you mean warming up in a suit?

He was actually on the pitch in a suit (as in lounge, business...) -which was just slightly too tight and short in the leg, giving a good view of the white socks and apparently restricting his movement - and pointy, shiny shoes, from about 2.15pm onwards, just kicking a ball around with a couple of other kids. All a bit sad and a responsible adult should really have had a word.

It's nothing personal on Alistair Slowe, at the end of the day if you was just nothing more than distinctly average at best, yet you were offered a contract at a professional club, you'd obviously bite their hands off and play the part too. The whole thing that gripes me is, it's the club that becomes the embarrassment, to fellow pro's/clubs it can only look somewhat amateurish compared to the rest of the playing staff who represent the club. I have to say i cringe alittle even when he's just named on the bench.

How can he even make the bench when Konstantanu and Death can't? It is becoming an unfunny joke. Why has he not been sent out on loan somewhere/anywhere? Bizarre!!!

minor point but konstantiou is on loan somewhere and death is a leftback - why would you have two leftbacks on the bench??
also slowe hasnt been on the bench himself for several weeks now

Alistair was spotted today in town, buying a claret coloured snood! could this mean imminent debut?

Perhaps he wanted a bandana and they didn't have one to fit.
