Poor Yeovil. Their fans are going to be so disappointed.

I have just re-read the majority of the Alistair Slowe thread (30 odd pages) and it is possibily the most bizarre thing to happen to the club in my time. To think 12 months ago we were signing Slowe, now we're signing Arron Davies et al.

I thought Leon was winding me up when he told me this back on the last home game of the season, especially as it was so long ago and nothing had been announced. All his dad needed to do was to send Yeovil a tweet recommending him. Hope he gets his break in to the first team which he was so close to getting at Cobblers until he fell out with the management... or so he says

Anybody know how much Arron Davies' dad paid?

Sammo said in a public meeting that Slowe wasn't good enough, that he didn't rate him, and he'd never get into our side while he was manager...so if that's true, the person who did the "deal" is almost certainly still at the club. The worst part of it all is that Slowe still had a place on the bench from time to time - what was all that about?

Sammo should have had the balls to say something, instead of letting him sign on. GJ resolved the farcical issue as soon as he took over. And to think we beat Liverpool, even with him on the bench that night!

I think the guilty party in all this is Malcom Crosby, as he had links to his dad. He was only ever on the bench to make up the numbers

Does someone want to link a copy of this thread to Yeovil's supporters? Just so they know what they're in for like...

He's not guilty - you need to look to the south coast for the answer to this one.

it was a gray time for the club
Now Gray brought in some terrible players, but not as bad as Slowe ...

Just a thought, had Jacobs Osman and Thornton got injured at Anfield would Sammo expose Mr Slowe to the Kop or just play the No 2 goalkeeper in midfield?

Didn't even get on the pitch. This if from the Yeovil OS: "At half time, Yeovil made seven changes withdrawing Baines, Mark Jones, Maher, O'Brien, Blizzard, Edgar and Moore. Sent on in their place were George Wilson, Alex Constantine, Shane Williams, Rhys Kelleher, Kiernan Hughes-Mason, Lewis Perkins and Rhys Baggridge."

Incredibly he hasn't been released though! Again from the Yeovil OS:
"However Dorchester scored a fourth goal immediately to confirm the victory and after the game, manager Terry Skiverton released eight of the squad. They are Imran Baines, Remy Gordon, Steffan Jones, Declan Gallacher, Mark Jones, George Wilson, Shane Williams and goalscorer Rhys Kelleher."
