Was Slowe's transfer ever made official? I never saw any news of it which is strange as I thought YTFC would have celbrated their marquee signing with a fanfare press conference. Strange numbering system in place if you check out their official site. Lots of blank spaces with Slowe stuck in the middle of nowhere. Maybe part of this exclusive deal was that he got to choose his own number?

Loving the Yeovil fans reviews of him Grin I think Slowe will come good though and become a club legend.

Someone has to do some kind of Panorama special on this whole farce. He clearly isn't a footballer and if his dad wants him to be succesful, surely he could fund a university course for him or something, rather than paying for his son to become increasingly dillusional.

Thats what I don't understand. Most rich parents just fund top quality education, never have I heard of such a ludicrous plan!

I know this might be hard for you to believe but Yeovil Town are not an OSTENTATIOUS football club, so the pomp and circumstance you might have expected for this LANDMARK signing was sadly lacking.

I however have HEWN a statue of Alistair from the trunk of a Ghanaian Giant Silk Cotton Tree that I have had imported. I have been waiting for Mr Skiverton to REVEAL the squad numbers so that I can finally UNVEIL my sculpture to the world (or at least the people who live in my village). This evening we will celebrate.
Yes tonight I really am going to party like its 1999.

Maybe Slowe will progess into the championship next season after going up a division this year. Maybe he could become the first ever player to not play in every division for four different teams!

The lad done good to have got a new club.

He Dad must be bloody good, I hope Alastair has a really good retirement home lined up for his old man to end his days in.  Come on Alastair, you really owe him one.  The Bingers boys will be lucky to get a fairground ride out of me this evening and its half price night.

Obviously Yeovil need Peter Slowe's 200 quid a week more than we do!

All I can find is this tweet from a Yeovil fan from 3 days ago. Poor guy!

This mornings kick around made Alistair Slowe look like David Beckham. And not just in his bizarre mind
