IMO we hear a lot about lack of black managers, but how many black ex players actually want to be a manager? we see lots of white ex players on the TV throwing their hat in the ring for managers job, but we don't see many black ones apart from Paul Ince and then when Sol Campbell was touting himself for jobs etc.

Some people who are linked to the Kick It Out organisation often seem to imply that people like Chris Powell was sacked because he's black - not because he hadn't won in 11 games, Brighton sacked Chris Hughton because he's black and not because they had spent a fair bit of money this summer but didn't really progress. Sol Campbell shouldn't have had to start in League 2 and the fact he did is because he's black. Anyone would think they were trying to create a racism problem.

Yes there is a racism problem in football but that is with fans, you can't kick a team out of the league because they have a racist fan, it's not the clubs fault and all the club can do is ban these fans. Absolutely no need to punish the other 90% of fans who are behaved.

If all these clubs don't want a black manager like has been implied... I wonder why pretty much every team in the league has black / mixed race players... some have 5 in the starting 11, the most recent England national team also has lots of black/mixed players, Rashford, Sterling, Walker, Delph, Sancho, Lingard, Rose, Gomez, Wilson, Alli, Alexander-Arnold.

Racism problem inside football clubs? no chance!

This new rule degrades black people, it makes it sound like they need handouts, i wouldn't be surprised if some black managers now start thinking... "am i only getting an interview because the club has been forced into giving me it"

It would be good to see more black managers in the game, but this is like forcing it and that is not how it should be done.

Prejudice cannot be hidden,
Arrogance for the color of skin.
Its ugly head is here again
Racism is lurking within.

This sort of thing is absolute búlls***. They would be interviewed if they were good enough the same as a white prospect will not be interviewed if they are not good enough. I am pretty sure that clubs will want the best manager thay can get on their budget and their colour or creed will have eff all to do with it.

What a load of crap foreigners over run the prem and championship as managers and players it just so happens very few of those managers are black and it's because they are not good enough for the job in the eyes of the club that hasn't given them a job not the colour of their skin
