Hi everyone Just to let you all know that the York Hotel (where lots of you visited last season) is still one of the best places to meet up pre match. Although the ground has moved we are still only 10 mins walk to the new ground and there is plenty of parking round the streets and in our own car park. Away fans always welcome and we have Cask Ale, Sky/ESPN, bar food, pool, darts and an outdoor beer patio/smoking terrace plus a warm welcome. One of your supporters groups are already stopping off as its only a few mins drive to the ground. When you approach Morecambe (McDonalds on your left), go straight on at the next roundabout for town centre. You will pass the site of the old ground, now Sainsbury's, and we are reached in 30 secs on the left. LA4 5QH on the stanav - 01524425353 www.yorkhotelmorecambe.co.ukCheers Mick Good ol Boy

It's only a 10 min walk from the station, not a mile and a half in fact coming into Morecambe you pass under the bridge next to the York, pity you cant get out there!!

I just put the railway station and the postcode of the ground into the AA route finder. It said one and a half miles.

Sixfields travel going straight to Morecambe now and not stopping at a specific pub en route. Pick your own when we get there. Pub stop in Preston cancelled as 4 coaches now going with ST.

Seem to remember it being packed so it cant be that bad, think the terrible journey up was worst part of that trip.
