So we've thrown away the lead just the two times this week...its like an art with us, throw away specialists.

The last time we held onto a lead without letting in further goals - if I remember correctly was versus Stevenage.
Could we notch only our second double of the season?

Just got home thinking we had taken the points 2-1 to find out we drew. This is making me feel sick. Il be there Saturday supporting but Stevenage seem like a tough outfit

I think the Stevenage game is critical if we are to escape. We havent won now in 18 games, so to expect a win against play-off contenders is a tough ask, but whatever the players have to do, to just win ugly or finally just something go for us on the pitch, then its for me got to come against Stevenage.
Barnet go to Accrington Stanley who's home form is impeccable and a real fortress for any opposition team. If(if!) as expected Accrington pick up maximum points then providing we steal a win in whatever way we can, it'll be enough regardless of the final week of the season. If though it does come down to the final week and we have to go to Morecambe, and knowing Barnet are at home to Port Vale, which team do you think will come away with most points from those games? - for me Barnet, should beat Port Vale comfortably going by recent form/events - in regards to us, do you really see the Cobblers with the pressure firmly mounted on them, taking all 3 points from Morecambe?(despite being a team with nothing to play for)....i have strong doubts, so for me our opportunity has to be our home game against Stevenage.

I really regret to say, but we didn't manage to dominate a game against the team who are going to finish bottom of the League. Their second was a superb shot. Rodgers did some superb tackles today and I felt so sorry for him to have put the ball in the back of the wrong net.
I don't feel any better about our situation than I did before kick off, even though for a while it lookd like we had done enough.

Just saw the goals on SSN, for the first goal, Collis let the cross go beyond him, making it an impossible task for Rodgers to prevent the goal, if he didnt get something on it, their player would've had a tap in. - Unlucky on Rodgers, frustratingly Collis no doubt at fault. As for the penalty, Bauza blatantly brought down whilst in a scoring position - should've been red, no doubt. Their second goal, a wonder strike going like a rocket, unstoppable for any keeper.

We were absolutely s*** today and lucky to get a point, to be honest. We probably had more chances than they did but their overall play was better than ours. They looked like they wanted it more, and that stings. How on earth Harrad failed to score his chance i will never know! In our defence, Rodgers couldn't do a lot about his OG and their second goal no one would have stopped; it was just one of those things but the fact remains that in open play we were outplayed and outfought by the worst side in the football league.

Well, next Saturday is going to be difficult, Stevenage are a big, fit, and well-motivated side. We by contrast are not. Also the plain fact is that we're not very good. Today we couldn't string 3 passes together, and their left side attacks pulled us to pieces. We're lucky to get the point. We're also picking up injuries so we'll run out of players soon. Hopefully we'll just avoid relegation, but it's only about 60/40 and it could all go tits-up quite easily.

I think you/we should all accept that the only way we are going to win this season is by pure luck. I came to this conclusion weeks ago; and the support they get/don't get from the stands will make no difference to these spineless arses.
If you decide to go away to watch them, do so on the total assumption that they will be useless. If they are not totally useless they will still somehow throw the game away. At least with home games you don't waste the whole day and you've probably bought your ticket already (season ticket). I got completely lambasted on here because Id 'given up' after the Bury game...what I did say was that our only chance of staying up would be if our rival's failed to catch us up and take advantage of us not winning another game. So far, with the grace of God..they haven't. And Lincoln it appears have become even worse than us. 47 or 48 points might still be enough...I just bloody hope so!

Fair play for going mate. I will be back with the aways, even if its Forest Bloody Green again come August. But I want to see the back of these players first; I support NTFC, not just the current team. And as Feelgood would say, our current team sucks!

Harrad missed, because he never got there in time, simple really. Not half as bad as abduls late miss at wycombe. It was a stonewall red, not sure what differance it would of made though, anybody who keeps saying collis is better than dunn, got there answer today, he isn't,not by a long chalk. Hence why he's 3rd choice at the pish behind an error strewn goalkeeper., nana probably had his best game today, he still wasn't good though.

Some fans were singing "your going down! your going down! We're not! We're not!" I hope that chant doesn't condemn us to BSP next season
