I know it's tempting, but can we save the post-mortems until we actually have a corpse on our hands?

There's obviously a lot to criticise, a lot to analyse and a lot of hindsight flying about. Most of us, myself included, have pretty strong ideas about what's gone wrong and what should have been done instead - we can talk about that at the end of the season. However, until we actually know for certain which league we'll be in next year all this talk is irrelevent and counterproductive.

The fact is that we are still in a pretty strong position to avoid the drop. Let's look at some positives:

-The team are scoring enough goals to get points (something that Lincoln for instance are struggling with)
-The last minute equalisers against Torquay and Rotherham show there is fight within the squad
- Our goal difference is far superior to our rivals
-Our next game is against a team we beat away from home
-The atmosphere at Sixfields has been good, and has spurred the team on to some committed performances
- IT'S STILL IN OUR HANDS

Top big wins for Stockport and two big defeats for us and we will be.

A positive attitude may not solve all of our problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Grin
