I have to be honest, I've never heard of him.
He was the sort of act that was probably best suited to a Pontins holiday camp ballroom, spangly suits, a pint of mild n bitter, and an illuminated sign saying "baby crying in chalet no 416".  And not very funny.

Funny you should say that, me and my mates once saw him at Butlins.

And by "saw" I mean we were walking past one of  the theatres and saw there was an act on when nothing had been advertised for that time. We stuck our heads around the door and heard him say "People think I'm gay but I'm not. I'm not! My boyfriend is but I'm not".

We then looked at each other, shook our heads and continued on to wherever we were going (probably the bar).

Ah yes, the spectacle of a crap "comedian", and a knobbly knees contest being hosted by Ted Bovis.  Grin

If you know him, you wouldn't have that opinion. Wink
