Wilf Dixon, coach/ trainer at Everton when they won the title in 1970, also coach at Tottenham and Arsenal, and other smaller clubs like Aldershot and Southend, he lived in the same village as me, would talk for hours about football. I took him to watch a Cobblers training session in the the Gray/Sammo era, he talked to them for ages about the game.
RIP true gent professional and friend aged 94.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry Roberts whilst working at Bletchley in the early 80s. One of the many unsung heroes who worked there during the war.

Leslie Thomas writer of The Virgin Soldiers has gone.
Hywel Bennett was great in the film, if you've not seen it(more the younger ones on here) it is well worth a look.
