Angelo Dundee the great boxing trainer has died aged 90. I wonder how many rounds he watched during his long life.

Back in 1989 I served Frank Carson on the Northbound side of the Newport Pagnell Petrol Service station. I asked Frank for his autograph and he bellowed out quite loudly "I'm to big a superstar to give an autograph to the likes of you" and stomped back to his car. A little while later he returned to my counter with photograph in hand and asked me my name and signed it for me and bought me a can of Coke, shook my hand and wished me all the best. Smiley

I wonder how many at the time only heard the first part of that and went away thinking badly of him?

Unfortunately in the public eye for the wrong reason. At peace now as his pain is ended.
