Ari Up. Lead singer with the Slits. Saw them along with the Buzzcocks and some other bands in the early eighties. Great memories for a fading punk rocker.

Before my time really, The Slits. But been playing them constantly this last year or so. Sound as contemporary as anything at the moment. And John Lydon is married to Ari Up's mum...I never knew that.

Quite apt that Bernard Matthews died on Thanksgiving day Tongue

As a fellow Hotelender will vouch when I was a young tearaway & not clutching a bosom of Mrs.tyro I lived on Turkey Burgers. Tongue

Tonight in memory of Bernard I will be having Turkey Burgers, Turkey Steaks & Turkey Drummers  Grin

R.I.P. Bernard, won't be long till some of your dear Turkeys will be joining you in the Great Farm in Heaven  Smiley
