Steve Bronski, co founder of Bronski beat, shall beat no more.
I just popped a bit of 80s synth on. Jimmy Sommervilles voice is amazing.

Definately music for a generation.

For me it was the start of a revolution. Being gay was becoming albeit slowly acceptable, the far right was on the decline(though not completely), the shackles that our parents were under were not removed, but certainly loosened, we got to speak for ourselves, wether it did any good I don't know, but they were Halcyon Days.

I never saw that story, was it redacted?

This probably deserves its own thread but Mike Ingram has passed away suddenly.

Mike was a very knowledgeable historian, particularly surrounding Northampton and always pushing for the protection of key historical areas / recognition for the town of Northampton.

I had personally been on Mike's tours which were very interesting and this is a massive loss for the town.

'In remission from Hodgkins lymphoma but otherwise well'
Let's also hope those of us with existing morbidities don't add Covid.

You could get run over by a bus and there are certain people would claim you died of Covid.

Ah yes.
That well known morbidity, the bus.
I expect epidemiologists will have separate categories for double and single deckers.
