Someone on another thread mentioned Clayton Donaldson, but looks like he could be heading to Crawley.  They could be the division's wild card next season.

Won't be a wildcard. They walked the conference and they spend big money. There'll be no surprises at Hotel End HQ if they're up there or thereabouts next May.

Andy Todd released by Oldham. Worth a punt again? Thought he did a decent job whilst on loan that season, could be the experienced head required at the back?

Ashley Grimes would be a great signing, especially if Bauza leaves and Purcell isn't expected to be fully fit until Christmas. I'd assume better League Two, or some League One teams would take a punt on him though.

Higgs and Price would also be very welcome.

Someone on another thread mentioned Clayton Donaldson,

I have suspicions that I taught this lad on my placement when I was training to be a teacher, when he was 13/14.  Can't remember owt about him, mind.

Was excellent welsh player with Swansea, afro hairstyle, if he joins with Bauza we'll have to dig out the wigs   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Price

Yep he was good. As for Hinton & Beckwith weren't they our CB pairing in front of Lee Harper when we went on that defensive run ? My mind pickled today!!

He was 34 then and he's 37 now - could make all the difference to a player and whether his "legs have gone".
