Every year franchise spend outside the championship is a year closer to them falling into decline.

Exactly. Winkleman can't bank roll them forever, they don't have enough hardcore support for them to be sustainable...

Thank god that is over.  Winklemans plastic army are out and I can get back to hoping P*sh lose.  Sadly, having watched the Huddersfield v bournemouth game I have a nasty feeling they might just make it.

2005 plastics went to the game. Regardless of what they get at home games (average this season is around 8500 compared to 10200 last season and 10500 the season before) a clubs away support is the real gauge. And that support is pathetic to say the least!

Just noticed that myself! I'll never forget a Tuesday night some years ago when we took the best part of 3,500 there for a Freight Rover Trophy group game!!

I too was at that game! Interesting that Boro took well over 4000 to the first leg, which they lost. Given the close proximity, the evening fixture excuse isn't valid. I think there is a good chance they will start to dwindle away now, they NEEDED to go up this season!

Arguably biggest game in MK Plastics short existence and they only take 2005 fans to London Road last night.

I think this just highlights how much of an impact giving away free tickets for their home games to schools etc bolsters their attendances but doesnt reflect the'true' fans that are actually willing to pay money and travel to away games to watch their team.

He's deleted the tweet which read something like "tonight I am an MK Dons fan", but if you click on the 'hopefully' tweet you'll see that's in response to someone saying "it'll hurt the scum more if they lose in the final". There was some other anti-Posh stuff as well which he also seems to have deleted.
