Starting XI- Paul Walker, Paul Rodgers, Chris McCready, Andy Holt, Charlie Death, Alex Konstantinou, Ryan Gilligan, Michael Jacobs, Greg Kaziboni, Steve Guinan, Courtney Herbert
Subs - Subs: Chris Dunn, Malachi Farquharson, Seb Harris, Dean Beckwith, Marcus Hall, Liam Davis, Nathaniel Wedderburn, Abdul Osman, Kevin Thornton, Tadhg Purcell, Billy McKay.
So it looks like it's the reserve team, but with Holt & Gilligan thrown in.

I agree, I was impressed with the way Cobblers played against Kettering, if we play the same attacing football today I think we will win 3-0. I would like Purcell to score a few between now and start of the season sp he starts at Torquay with confidence

Konstantinou stretchered off after horror tackle by lavery. I hope I'm wrong but it looks like a broken leg
Update JeffersonLake 1-0 at the half via herbert but sour mood after the konstantinou injury

2 - 1 Gunian and Herbert, and Gilligan missed a penalty according to Jefferson's Twitter.
Injury has pretty much ruined the whole thing really.

Don't think it was a fracture, I didn't see an ambulance leave the ground. Otherwise, Jacobs hugely impressive again, we ddn't create much and defensively we were done for pace a little too often especially Rodgers and Holt.

Why do these f***ing s***e non-league twats feel the need to grab centre stage by attempting to maim our players? Quigley of Long Buckby twice attempted to break Gilligan's legs last weekend and if it were a competitive match he'd have seen a red. Now some club footed Corbyite oaf sees it fit to lunge into a "horror tackle" on a lad for whom, at this early stage of his career, a serious injury could pose a real threat to his professional career. Why can't we just play the Coventrys, Watfords and Birminghams and let the local non-league s***e get on with playing other pub teams in front of crowds of 40 or 50? If they lose the income they get every pre-season from the bumper crowds that League sides bring, then good.

Jacobs (if he was the no.15) looked quality today on the left wing. He skinned his man countless times, set up Guinan's goal after a great run and won the penalty that Gilligan missed. MOTM in my opinion.

Lake's twitter said Jacobs was MOTM, so it probably was him.
Fingers crossed that Alex is alright and that he can join him into breaking into the first team next year.
