Good on ya Steve...... Sure you'll do a grand job..
Surely he'll be looking to earn a little more than that from two jobs!

I suppose that means he is buggering off in January then!
Getting a football related job alongside playing for FGR is a very good idea, considering that he is both taking a pay cut to move to conference level, and that he will probably retire within the next year or two. Good on him, I hope he is more successful as a coach than he was here as a player, although that won't be very difficult!

Great news for him - I doubt anyone will begrudge him getting a decent change of circumstances.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/f/forest_green_rovers/9323971.stm?Forest Green Rovers have signed Wealdstone midfielder Kieron Forbes for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old was an academy player at Watford and worked with Rovers boss Dave Hockaday during his time as coach of the under-18 squad at Vicarage Road. Meanwhile, Rovers have handed a permanent deal to on-loan Newport midfielder Wayne Turk, 29. Northampton loanee Steve Guinan, 35, has signed a contract to stay at Rovers until the end of the season. Forbes, who has made over 100 appearances for Wealdstone, arrives on a deal that includes a sell-on clause, although the length of the contract has not been revealed. So at last he's gone for good!

Well, Guinan not even in the listed twenty for FGR at Bath today...and clearly didn't need him! 4-2 win for Gloucestershire's finest!

Shame he couldn't do just the one job properly when he was here.

I think he was busy in his role as 'donkey' at the local panto.

That's factually inaccurate - he actually has two roles, one as the back end of the pantomime horse and the other as a cow that tries half-heartedly to hit a barn door with a banjo but misses. Costume changes are a challenge: Stevie G is quoted in the Stroud Bugle as saying "I've not moved this fast in years".
