Wasn't sure where to put this, but according to the Sun, former Cobblers target Jamille Matt is an illegal immigrant!
Guess we had a lucky escape then...

Lee Smith, Keiron Leabon and Lee Reed scored the goals as Bury Town coasted to a 3-0 victory over Horsham.

The win leaves Bury in 4th place in the Ryman League Premier Division with a record of P33 W18 D6 L9 F67 A44 Pts60

East Thurrock United away on Tuesday night is the next game.

Boston United fought out a 1-1 draw at home to Altrincham on Saturday, a team who'd beaten them 6-1 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season. A crowd of 1204 turned out, attendances holding up pretty well despite an average season on the pitch.
Their record now stands at P34 W14 D8 L12 F47 A47 Pts 50 and they sit 5 points outside the playoff places with 8 games to go.

Sam Reed's late goal proved to be just a consolation as Bury Town went down 2-1 at East Thurrock Utd.

Salisbury drew 0-0 @ home to Welling United. On a foot note Truro City have been handed a 2nd winding up notice this season by HM Revenue & Customs who are owed £51000 this could mean that Salisbury will lose 4 points if the Cornish side are wound up

Four of us gave Swindon a miss on Monday and headed for Hemel Hempstead to watch Oxford City's push for promotion. Light fall of rain means the game's called off in said Herts dump. No fear, the Rising Sun on the Grand Union in Berkhamsted (National Cider pub of the year 2012 and front cover of GBG 2012) provided ciders, ales...and more ciders!

OCFC have awful fixture pile up - with OSC final having to be played before season ends (ridiculous!). If they don't make the playoffs..HHTFC will need some answers!
