I found an article that i found interesting about him entitled 'A year in the life of Mario Balotelli' http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/article/62225/I found it quite interesting, all of the things he does generally seem so stupid, but i was fascinated to find out that he's not all bad and that there are a few positive things that Mario has done. What are people's opinions on him especially after that back heel a few days ago?

Well, it wasn't an important match, I remember when I was a youth player we beat a team 25-0 in a pre-season friendly. Me and my friend both scored a goal with our arses by stopping the ball on the line and sort of arsing it in. I was 14 to be fair and wasn't on silly money a week. If he did it in a real game then he'd be desrving of this disrespect bollocks, when the season starts no one will remember it. I've heard he's a bit crazy but then again Italians tend to be a bit out there and he's a lad still. I did like this story though: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/10052011/58/premier-league-balotelli-saves-boy-bullying.htmlThis didn't make it onto BBC news, or did missed it that day, funny that.

The game has become too serious and needs more wackos like Balotelli.

Completely agree, he has a strange personality but there is certainly a place in football for players like him

Cannot stand Balotelli. Don't see why he acts so arrogantly, such an average player. Might well stand out as a good player in a bad league, such as Serie A, but in the English Premiership ... he is very very average. Off the pitch, he appears a nightmare as well. And BBC did report Balotelli picking up that bullied player (thats how I found out the news).
At least with Aguero in, hopefully won't see much of him anymore.

I'm in two minds on Balotelli. I'm yet to be convinced he's as good as he thinks he is and at times he seems like an absolute cock, but on the flip side there's the great story about the bullying incident and I also seem to remember he gave a load of money to a tramp he took pity on as well.
Regardless of that, I think the showboating incident says more about Mancini's dour approach to the game than it does about a player trying to put on a show for the crowd.

He wore an AC Milan shirt to do a televised interview whilst at Inter. He's a deliberate trouble maker.

Interesting point. He must sell well over 18 times the merchandising goods as the average league 2 player so in that respect he probably is.

One thing he isn't is average. I can't think of many 20 year olds in World football at the moment who are better than him, or at the very least have the same potential. Sort his attitude out and he'll be one of the best players in the world in a couple of years time. Mark my words....

I'd say he's average. Missed some right sitters last season, and is only a bench player at City (as he was at Inter). He may well have potential, but won't ever realise it because he's a bellend. Won't ever be as good as the likes of Tevez and Aguero.

For a bench sitter, he always seemed to start their big games, even getting MOM in the FA Cup Final. I agree that there is a real big danger that he won't reach his potential, which would be a shame as he has got everythink in his locker, so to speak.
