Aside from the women slagging each other off which is just normal really...the race footage I've seen looks incredible. Anyone who has not been to Brafield to see these in action needs to get along to a meeting. 21st Aug Sat night or the big meeting of the year on 5th Sept..... |

Someone I went to school with used to race BRiSCA F2's at Brafield. I saw him have a bad accident which broke his back. The next time I saw him was at Virgin Active at Riverside where he was building up his muscles. I asked him if he was going to race again and he told me that his doctor had strongly adivsed against racing again because another accident could paralyse him. He said he wasn't sure what he was going to do as he loved the sport and wanted to carry on. I havent seen him since (or watched F2's at Brafield) so I am not sure if he retired or not...
PS. If you know much about F2's as well as F1's you may know him... His name is Peter Hobbs

I must admit to being a bigger F1 fan until recently when I started race marshalling work. The F2s are incredible as they get up to 40 on a 400m track at one time which always results in major action in most races. Both are great to watch....I hope the series gets more people coming along. I have messaged Jeremy Casey and his colleagues to put a bit in the Chron about it....we'll wait and see...they seem to focus on Footy, Rugby, Bowls, Athletics and kids footy....Brafield never gets a mention which is a shame because it really is a great day out locally for very little money compared to footy, rugby and certainly cheaper than any day out at Silverstone! |

I really enjoyed the first episode last night. It has made me more determined to get to the World Masters in September. Thats the first weekend in September sorted for me... Saturday Sept 4th Aldershot V Cobblers and Sunday Sept 5th Brafield for BriSCA F1 World Masters

Gobby Mares is all I can say Believe it or not Lisa Smith...used to be known as Lisa Harter and was an incredible racer herself. Back in the early 90's before babies she was as hot as molten lava (until she spoke)!!! Used to give me the horn in her race suit..... |

Get there for the night meeting 21st Aug mate...the new flood lights are great and they look 5 times faster at night. Having said that...the world masters will have a massive turn out of drivers (the day after the world final at Coventry)....and so will provide lots of "payback" racing!!! Tell all your mates... If you want a voucher to get 2 adults and 3 kids in for £30 for the 21st Aug....send me a PM and I'll get them for you! |

Yes I watched it, I noticed that When Chris Cowley went to the hearing that they mentioned that the accident happened at Northampton. That 17 year old girl was brave, going from riding a horse to a BriSCA F1 car and she seemed proud of crashing into the grass bank oblivious to the damage she inflicted to the car |

Mate the Neachells are that loaded they wouldn't even notice....they have a 60" plasma TV wired up to Sky in the back of their transporters....they are minted....not the normal stock car family I would suggest!
