Not on the move but ex Cobbler turned rock star Paul McGregor dissed us on soccer am, they asked him why he retired from football early to become a rock star and had he fallen out of love with the game he said "I was playing at northampton of course I had fell out of love with the game!"

Not 'on the move' as such but Frank Fielding, Jason Steele and Kyle Walker all called up into the provisional 40 man England Under 21 squad for the Euros coming up in June

Steven Guinan released by Forest Green Rovers. What a potent strike-force we started with last year.

Wish we could get a FB of calibre of Kyle , Mark Little & Darren Jones here again. But even better why can't we get a decent striker for prem clubs. Remember Bournmouth & Defoe, and that Bury guy last season awesome.

This should perhaps be in the non-existant "Former Cobblers not on the move" thread: "Super" Colin Larkin has had a contract extension at Hartlepool.  Both him and Ian Henderson playing for League One clubs never ceases to amaze me.

Don't knock Super Col. Certainly went on to better things in a higher league. Mind you so has Henderson. He was s***e!

Exactly, I wouldn't have had him on the pitch.  Tea lady, ball boy or cutting the grass, but certainly no more than an Alasdair Slowe type role.

Bayo set to turn down reduced contract terms at the Gills.  He's concerned over the quality of the squad now that McDonald (plus a few others) have left.
