"Lowly" in comparison to the level he's be at, from League 2, to the BSP, and then finding himself at Daventry Town, hence the word "Lowly" - not hard to comprehend is it?  Huh?

Have seen a lot of tweets saying that Leon McKenzie is/has signed for Luton Town, not confirmed as far as I'm aware.

Probably comes from a local radio interview with McKenzie saying that he'd join Luton if an offer came along. He was there to talk about his potential music career or something like that.

Hasn't moved on, however former player Andy Kirk is playing for Dunfermline today against St. Mirren in the SPL. Says alot about Scottish football if a striker who wasn't well loved around these ends is playing in the best division in Scotland.

Well, he's good, but let's face it: he's no Ashley Corker...

Fair play to Liam Davis, he's got himself a good move there. ...no doubt he'll tear us to shreds when we come against them - standard really.

Davis could well tear us to shreads or he might be in his sulking mood when he's a complete waste of space. I've never known a player for us who could be so good and sometimes so bad.

Leon wasn't good enough at Luton. He didn't get a contract. No surprised, if I'm being honest.

Ergh.. I kinda worded it wrong.

I said he wasn't good enough in terms that he didn't get signed on, so obviously he didn't impress them. I never actually meant it that *I* don't think he's good enough. When I also meant not surprised, they probably have taken his injury into account.

I think they've made some particularly poor signings in my opinion. Can't see them challenging the top 7 myself.
