What a f@@king shock. 1st of August, old deal runs out and he's alowed to sign a new one. No need to write up a stupid 'pre-contract' which only plases solicitors. He gave his word and stuck to it.

Just listened to the latest interview with Marcus, he seems a very nice guy. Turned down other offers to be here, including a League 1 club and another who came in very late trying to "steal" the boy away but stuck to his word and signed to finish "probably" his career at Sixfields. I wish him the very best.

You beat me to it... I like the fact that he turned down the League 1 offer because 'he has been training with the club for 4 weeks and couldn't do that to Sammo'... Its clear he wants to be at NTFC and like Marvo I wish him all the best!

He looked excellent yesterday. Was my man of the match. I particularly liked the way he kept talking with Sammo in the second half, letting the manager know what was going on from his perspective. Very good signing indeed

Good signing, hopefully he can be a similar calming influence to Ian Taylor who I thought was the catalyst for our promotion push under Calderwood. Especially important with a few youngsters coming through.

I noticed this too,could well be the signing of the season,so cool under pressure,A huge role model for the younger pro`s to follow.and seems like a top bloke as well.all good |
