Wolves are playing Fulham at home on Sunday Aug 21 and Villa away on Saturday Aug 27 at 12.00. I reckon that McCarthy will field a weakened side in these circumstances (his best players will need a break).
His priority is the League.
Good chance of a shock and further progress.
Good draw for us in my view.
...and thus the game being played on the Wednesday evening, one would imagine.

Good draw.Premier League side at home. I bet DC is a happy man at the moment. Chance of TV coverage. So ok it could have been better but it will definitely do.

Prem team at home. Full house. Plenty to like. Yam yam. Remember them away at mostly condemned Molineux. Kicking off everywhere. Riots due to local death. Leery as f*** and a 1-1 draw in a crowd of 9991. I was the 1!

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Why are cats all in heaven? Must p*ss off the dog lovers up there. And why not TV? chance of upset. Looking forward to Wolvo's views on number of travelling fans. Wolves surely think they have a chance of winning this trophy so will surely have strong bench?

Good draw. McCarthy loves a 2nd string so we could have half a chance. Then again, if his 2nd string is along the lines of Daniel Jones and mark little, might be tricky

Never seen so many police in my life as we had that day, massive police escort from the station to the ground. Great fun on the old football special trains in those days.

Anyone else enjoy seeing posts like these by Liverpool supporters, they Shiver at the mention of our name Quote: "Originally Posted by Ginger Nut That'll do. At least our second string are a LOT better this year and the attitude under Kenny is a world away from the aimless zombies Hodgson managed to turn many of our players into! With no Euro distractions, a decent crack at both domestic cups would be refreshing"

I know that lots of people were frothing with hope of an away tie at a big club, but this is a good one for us - Wolves are a club with a great history, and we can add their scalp in front of a fervent home crowd, whatever they say about wanting to win, they will be more interested in their league matches.

I don't think they'll be as naive as other clubs have been, but I sure hope they turn up with their under 18s.

Are we going to be using the database thingy-me-bob for home tickets come the game? Wolves fans already planning to infiltrate the home stands if they sell out their allocation (fairly likely) and nothing ruins a game like some idiot sitting in the middle of the West stand cheering an away team goal.
