Great moderation that. Allow cricketside to start as many threads as he wants all hysterically slamming a bloke working under difficult circumstances and then abuse someone who tries to argue back.

In what way is Gary working under difficult circumstances?

Probably because he has got no one else to blame but himself because he assembled the squad, message to Gary, always have someone elses players around so you can blame someone else!

If you kept a lid on cricketside's knee jerk reactions and merged his anti-johnson threads (as you so fanatically do with threads on other subjects) this argument wouldn't be happening.

The more I see of your posts Hamster the more I wonder if you are a complete dullard. Anybody who supports Cricketside needs their heads examining.

It's obvious that perhaps even a majority of the fans didn't want Sammo to be sacked and some hold a grudge accordingly and will never accept GJ.  But if anyone believes that a single poster on a minority messageboard can somehow subvert or "infiltrate" then they have truly lost all sense of proportion.  For the same reason, Shoemaker and Manwork might have expressed their views about the Chairman more eloquently, but for them to be called up to the headmaster's office rather smacks of a lack of balance by those concerned at the time; I happen to think there has been one common factor in the club's demise over the last ten years and don't anticipate that to be resolved any time soon.

As with Sammo, who I said should have been judged at the end of the season, so GJ should be afforded the same opportunity.  I fear deeply that within the next couple of months we could see some of the lowest ever league crowds at Sixfields (Tuesday night at Hereford has that record marked all over it), but it's for GJ to prove people wrong.

I'll be honest, hit the nail on the head about sammo, I hold a grudge because I feel if sammo was awarded the same oppertunities as johnson he would have done a good job and the speed at which johnson was bought in after sammo was sacked felt like it had been plotted for a while.

I also agree that there has been one common factor as well and its NOT the redevelopment.

We can help ourselves by dropping the manfred man system a  5-4-3-2-1, playing wing backs, attacking midfielders, 1 up front with an occasional second striker, as it seems to me the players lose track as to where and what they should be doing. I think the solution could be an old money no nonsense 4-4-2 and playing an outside left, inside right, half backs and wing half.
 Hope that helps.

I would have hoped that the moderators would have used some editorial nouse and told cricketside to calm down his rabble rousing but no they like their board filled with hysterical threads started by people with no perspective...
why? because he says things you dont like? behave you div

I think if we were able to utilise a 5-4-3-2-1 system we'd probably be doing a little better Grin
