Stanley vs Tranmere called off after a half hour break for an injury. Suspected broken neck  Undecided  He's only 18 as well, on loan from Col U

There was a guy who played for Algeria who broke his neck a few years ago in an international game and was back playing football within a few months. There's also the Bert Trautmann case. So hopefully this doesn't necessarily spell the end of this lad's career. Doesn't sound good though. Sad Hope he survives, makes a full recovery and we see him back out on a football pitch one day.

Scary stuff, let's hope the lad can make a full recovery. I remember seeing a Cambridge player go down with a sickening blow to the head at a game years ago. He was OK in the end, but for the 10 minutes or so he was down it left you with a sinking feeling in your stomach. Not a nice thing to see, and it must be a hell of a lot worse when you actually know the player involved.

No mention of a broken neck but still a shocking injury.
