I am very suprised the Chron were able to state an amount as I understood there is a confidentiality clause in the agreement, perhaps why the website item was taken down. I would therefore take the amount with a pinch of salt.

The article in the Chron actually says that it is understood that the club recouped more than the 70k they paid Mansfield Town for him and the positive outcome was down to Nick Ancel's diligent record keeping and as the case was settled before it went to arbitration no legal precedent has been set, well done to the club for sticking to their guns!!!

Who has to pay the reported 70 grand? and if they're not able or willing to cough up, can we claim the goods back? Giles would fit in well in our midfield imo.
