I'm looking forward to the start of the season and it would be nice to start the campaign without this on our fans forum.

well I think it should remain just a warning to people not to abuse the privilege of free speech on a democratic forum

I'd like to know what happened to the update after 30 days and whether the club have followed through with their threat. Have I missed something?

They could never control the one and only and original fans forum Cobblers Comments , So why not let us support and discuss our teams progress without threats of court action on here? Statement out, manwork and friend in (behaving themselves of course).

It would be unfair to remove the statement, the club are as entitled to post on here as anyone else. However my preference would be to remove the sticky and unlock it. It states clearly on the rules "This messageboard is not endorsed or in any way affiliated with Northampton Town FC", so their posts should be treated in the same way as all others.

Leave it.... there will be the usual curmudgeonly bunch of halfwits who have had it in for every manager since Graham Carr once we are 3 points off a playoff place... they need reminding that this forum is not a sanctuary when their eternal dissatisfaction makes them spout libellous untruths that lager tells them are 'facts'.

Yes.
No.
well what a shame the whole thing can't be put to bed. What with the start of a new season and a certain amount of optimism about it would be a good time for the club and fans to be pulling in the same direction and concentrate on supporting the team and to be fair DC does say this in his latest interview.

well it obviously matters to someone or it wouldn't still be there. I am going to take your advise to forget about it now and look forward to Torquay!
