Whilst many of us are looking at Pish with much envy at the present time, I cannot believe the poor home gates they are getting. After last nights win against Cardiff (including 7 goals) they pulled a crown of 6,300. Truly dreadful for a team who now lies just 1 place outside the play-offs. This is my main reason for thinking they will never be able to maintain their position in the Championship, let alone the Prem.

It will all end in tears  Cool

I think we are one of the last teams who are in any sort of position to take one at them.

Our owner is hardly doing a good job, our gates are way down and we're closer to the conference than L1 for the second season running.

I wouldn't worry about us Sir,

I think if you look at nearly all the gates on Tuesday the numbers were well down on what is expected.

What i would say however is have a look again on saturday at the gate. Home tickets all sold out. They sold out on wednesday. when did that last happen at sixfingerfield?

A win will take us second for a few hours.

Already we are the highest placed team in the country not to have played Premier League football.

Glad your looking at us with envy, we're flying. Four wins in six at the championship level is a fantastic achievement.

Being so high is a bonus but it is the gap between us and the relegation zone that most of us are focusing on.

Another season at this level and as i said pre season, we will be so far ahead of you in terms of finances and stature it will be embarrassing for you.

I've got this horrible feeling that they'll be the playoffs surprise package.

If you actually read my post properly, (I appreciate some members of this site cannot actually read  Grin) you'll see that I was merely commenting on the poor attendance  Roll Eyes

I cannot for the life of me understand why our current position means we are not entitled to pass comment on our dearly beloved Pish. Then again, some appear to have totally lost their sense of humour due to our current plight. I also highlighted the fact that they are playing some tremendous football at present and are by far the most exciting team to watch in the Championship.

For some of us old enough to remember, we've been in far more perilous situations than this. Shrewsbury 93 and Chesterfield 94 for example. With regards to our current poor gates, you obviously weren't at The County Ground in the early 90's when we drew just over a 1,000 versus Darlo.
