...whose name is not Pozgain or Salihu...?!
It may be an all-time first to slate a player before we even know his name, but do we really need yet another unproven player with little league experience...?

I don't see the point in signing an 18yr old youngster when we have Salihu? Same as when we signed Baldock when we have Kaziboni?

I'll have a complete stab in the dark at Callum Ball from Derby.

With you on the Kaziboni thing - he has great potential and attitude and is able to hit the ball at goal very hard and accurately from midfield, yet we've hardly seen him. Presumably that's because he was here before GJ arrived! As to a new young striker on loan, all we can do is to wish him well and hope he pots a goal. The portents are not good, though, decent strikers are like gold dust and clubs rarely loan them out, and as has been observed elsewhere on here, what we need are proven strikers. Johnson's track record here on that front is abysmal.

I'd love to see Will keane from man utd, been prolific at reserve level, has a natural eye for goal, and pretty sure he's represented his country at some level!

tbf Baldock is highly rated by MK Dons. One of their fans told me he is a decent player

I think the most relevent comparison is with Billy McKay, who was never given a chance by GJ...stupid move i.m.o

Hmm so assuming not English then. I'm going to have a guess at Akwasi Asante (becuase he's Ghanain, 18, never been loaned out before and I signed him on football manager earlier, thus thoroughly scouted by myself).

I'd imagine because Salihu just isnt ready to come into first team reckoning at the moment (granted you might argue the same about this unnamed 18-year old loanee) and when it comes to Baldock perhaps and most likely he's simply a better player than Kaziboni, making him a better option.

Note to GJ: Ian Henderson and Dean Bowditch also both played for England at U-20/U-19 level.

Didn't Chris Carruthers also achieve this?
